He was a guide and an inspiration to many. We honour Hal Winlaw, our family, our friend, and our teacher.

Hal was a high school guidance counsellor with the Calgary school board for over 35 years. He was passionate about exploring the inner self. This was evident in his role as a leader, honouring and offering insight to all students that crossed his path. His search for better health and wellness was an integral part of his life, both in psychology and in the world of nutrition and alternative therapies.

Hal was committed to exploring many different pathways to a life of deeper health and wellness. He was an open- minded adventurer and often took the path less travelled. He would encourage you to choose your own unique path on this journey.

This scholarship is to support your studies into further exploration of leading a more holistic life through any pathway in health and nutrition.
