We need your support to ensure 3,000+ students from Kindergarten to Gr. 12 are equipped for learning when they start the 2024-25 school year. The Backpacks for Students Campaign will provide new backpacks filled with supplies to students in need.

Each year the CBE distributes backpacks to students at 70+ schools across Calgary.

With backpacks and access to basic school supplies, students come to school prepared to learn and feel part of the learning community. The supplies in the backpacks provide the students with the tools that they need both at school and at home, so they can complete homework assignments or other special projects.

The rising cost of living has impacted everyone in one way or another and many families are struggling with day-to-day expenses. We cannot expect students to be successful in school without access to essential school supplies.

Your donation will go directly to providing a new backpack filled with new supplies to a deserving student. It costs approximately $50 for a filled backpack. Our goal is to raise $150,000!
