William D Pratt School is raising funds from local community members and businesses to create an outdoor recreational space and classroom for our school.

We will have picnic tables to fully support up to two classrooms for outside learning, an all-purpose sport court with sport specific line markers for multiple sports, cooperative and competitive sport games like Gaga Ball, 9 Square in the Air, and a climbing structure. We also plan to make the entire area accessible for all, so that everyone can participate and/or watch comfortably.

We have raised a considerable amount of funding for this project already, and this last bit of funding will help us get to our goal and provide additional items, like sports equipment/accessories for students to enjoy.

Here is a list of what we need to raise funds for, in order to finish the outdoor space:

– racquets for pickleball, tennis, etc.

– accessories for racquet games (portable pickleball nets, tennis balls, pickleballs, etc.)

– outdoor storage unit for sports equipment (approved CBE outbuilding)

Once the core outdoor recreation space financial needs are satisfied, we are asking for funds for other aspects of our students interests/needs:

– cameras

– mathletics subscription

– djembe drums
