Connaught School develops academic success and English language proficiency by providing personalized learning. The school serves children from 51 countries who speak 41 languages; 82 per cent of whom are English language learners. The Connaught Discovery Centre (CDC) provides extra help to those students who have experienced trauma , and who have difficulties with traditional learning methods.

 

Connaught School

The CDC supports students from kindergarten through grade 6, by providing specialized learning techniques. Students gain emotional regulating and focusing skills, such as the ability to label feelings, express them safely and calm internal reactions so that feelings are not overwhelming. These skills increase students’ intellectual engagement and help prepare them for future successes.
